The programme showcased the home's distinctive architecture and design, highlighting the important relationship between the residence, its elevated setting and the outdoor spaces – of which the pool is a defining feature.Delivering a high-end pool away from the UK mainland also brought additional logistical and coordination challenges, requiring careful planning, communication and management of materials, equipment and installation. The APP team worked through these challenges with the same determination and attention to detail applied to every project.

The design inspiration for Villa Cambray came directly from the architecture of the contemporary residence and its elevated coastal setting. The aim was to create a pool that felt connected to the property, rather than a separate feature within the landscape. The clean architectural lines of the house naturally informed the pool’s simple, contemporary geometry, while the infinity edge was introduced to strengthen the visual connection between the water and expansive views beyond. The client was closely involved throughout the design process, with Aqua Platinum Projects developing the pool around their vision for a luxurious and understated outdoor space.
