When tasked with the design of a bespoke, luxurious and unique pool hall, whilst every care is taken to exquisitely furnish the surroundings, the large expanse of the ceiling is often overlooked. Instead of neglecting this area, Aquascapes chose to make the ceiling an impressive and captivating feature. Due to the environmental constraints of a C5, constantly condensed and heavily polluted atmosphere, this posed durability and endurance considerations of its own. Aquascapes undertaking therefore involved the intuitive design, sourcing, fabrication and installation of multiple non-corrosive stainless steel 316 marine grade sheets, ingeniously cut and intricately folded to create a breathtaking configuration of seamless, architectural elegance. Unbeknownst to visitors, the ceiling is suspended with over 1000 concealed hangers! Alongside it’s practicality, the ceiling expertly refracts light around the pool hall, creating a scintillating oasis of tranquillity.
