We were approached by the clients who wanted a really sociable area in the garden for their young family. We built a reinforced concrete ‘freeboard’ type swimming pool size 10m x 5m with water depths of 1m – 2m (16,500 gallons/75 cu mts). We had a meeting with the client and designed the pool & surrounding area to the client’s needs producing drawings & CGI's for approval. We achieved the clients dream pool and outdoor leisure area using some of the industry's best products/materials. They wanted the feeling of being on holiday and got us involved as they wanted the pool to be the centre piece in the garden. The pool is a step down from their bar area and the outdoor kitchen next to the pool along with the golf putting green was everything they had dreamed of. They are a very sociable family and even supply a gate to the next door neighbour for them to use the pool. The main challenge we faced was access into the garden. The only way we could gain access was through a school behind the clients fence. We took down the fence and had all materials and machinery come through the school! We had a small window of the 6 weeks holiday to do this and the school were very accommodating as long as we finished on time, so it was all hands on deck for this installation!
