This project was a complete refurbishment of the swimming pool and surrounding areas. All meticulously carried out and installed in house by the beyond team. The swimming pool was installed in 90’s and my customers got in contact due to the age related issues and inconvenience of the original swimming pool and surrounding area. It was time to revamp and give this swimming pool its wow factor back. The aim was to create an area for the family to enjoy and make memories for many years to come.

What makes this project particularly special to us is the passion and love we put into our work. The finished pool demonstrates how an existing, dated swimming pool can be transformed into a high-end contemporary environment through careful design, quality workmanship and a commitment to excellence.

On this project we redesigned the pool be more efficient and give better circulation. We also redesigned the shape removing the Roman end to create cleaner more modern lines. We then built a full length step unit with a tanning ledge as the top step. Installed all new “certikin” fixtures and fittings to the swimming pool shell including two new white LED lights, two wide angle super suction skimmers, two anti vortex main drain as it currently only had one, four return outlets, automatic top up colour matched to the liner choice “Black”. New ABS pool pipework from the pool to the plant room to ensure peace of mind and longevity as we were installing a new pool surround and the pipework was 30 years old and leaking. We installed a brand new filtration system including a 24” lacron filter with Waterco’s EcoPure glass media, 1HP Sta Rite Pump and timer to give 5-6 hour turn over rate, Rainbow Inline chlorinator. A new Aqua-matic swimming pool safety cover in the popular charcoal grey with a concealed pit suppled by “Paramount pool products”.

We used a commercial reinforced onsite liner “Renolit Alkoplan” touch range in Elegance to finish the swimming pool. For the swimming pool surround we used this stunning “Venetian beige” Porcelain and the bespoke bullnose copping stones to match made from the same porcelain but bespoke made with a bullnose finish. We also incorporated traditional herringbone paths and seating area to break up the areas and give more texture in sandstone slim sets. Both supplied by “London Stone”.
