An elegant 8m x 4m outdoor swimming pool, finished in Ezarri Zen range mosaics and complemented by a discreet Certikin safety cover. The pool is framed by a bespoke decking surround, creating a seamless transition between the water and surrounding garden while combining sophisticated design, practicality and understated luxury.

This project demonstrates what can be achieved when exceptional design, technical expertise and careful project management come together. Despite seriously restricted site access, we delivered a high specification 8m x 4m pool without compromising on construction quality, finish or performance. Every element was carefully considered, from the low noise variable speed circulation system and Quantum UV water treatment to the Ezarri Zen mosaic finish, Certikin Coverstar safety cover and EVA lighting. The result is a sophisticated, highly functional pool that integrates seamlessly into its surroundings while overcoming significant logistical challenges. The client was delighted with the finished installation and has since recommended Opulent Pools to three other clients, a testament to the quality of both the finished project and the experience we delivered.

The design was inspired by the client’s desire for a timeless, elegant pool that would feel naturally integrated into the garden rather than dominate it. We worked closely with the customer throughout the design process, refining the pool proportions, finishes and surrounding landscaping to complement the property. The Ezarri Zen tiles were selected for their refined, contemporary appearance, while the decking surround creates a warm, natural transition between the pool and garden.

The 8m x 4m pool has a constant depth of 1.2m and was constructed using a 200mm reinforced sprayed-concrete shell, finished with Weber OCR T render and fully tanked using Ardex S7. A variable speed circulation pump was specified to minimise operating noise, particularly important given the close proximity of neighbouring properties, while also providing efficient filtration. A Superpool filter was selected for its clean white finish and reliable performance. Water quality is maintained using an Electro Quantum UV system, reducing reliance on traditional chemical treatment. A Certikin Coverstar safety cover provides secure pool protection, heat retention and improved energy efficiency. EVA pool lighting provides discreet, high quality illumination. One of the major challenges was the extremely restricted site access. Careful planning, logistical coordination and specialist installation techniques allowed the complete pool to be constructed despite the difficult access, without compromising the quality or specification of the finished installation.
