This project was a complete refurbishment of the swimming pool and surrounding areas. All meticulously carried out and installed in house by the beyond team. Our client had just purchased the property and gave us the task to bring this pool back to life and give this swimming pool a second wind. The aim was to create an area that gave the family an excuse to spend time together and make memories.

This entry deserves to win an award as it shows with some vision, design, planning and some hard work and you can completely change and alter the look and more importantly the feel of an old and tired swimming pool and its surrounding areas to be contemporary and modern. And make it the most magnetic and used area of the family home. Our approach was to ensure that the finished project delivered both beauty and purpose. Creating a luxurious environment without compromising on practicality. By combining thoughtful design with high-quality workmanship, we have transformed the space into an oasis environment that is genuinely designed around the people who use it. The success of the project is measured not only by how it looks, but by how it feels to use. Every decision was made with the end user at the heart of the refurbishment, creating a space that is welcoming, functional and built to be enjoyed.

On this project we completely resigned the pool and the surrounding areas to be gravitational and make you want to spend time in the space. We installed all new “certikin” fixtures and fittings to the swimming pool shell including new white LED light, two wide angle super suction skimmers, two anti vortex main drain as it currently had none, two return outlets, automatic top up colour match to the liner choice. New ABS pool pipework from the pool to the plant room to ensure peace of mind and longevity as we were installing a new pool surround and the pipework was 20 years old and leaking. We installed a brand new filtration system including a 24” lacron filter with Waterco’s EcoPure glass media, 1HP Sta Rite Pump and timer to give 5-6 hour turn over rate, Rainbow Inline chlorinator. A Mr Perfect air source heat pump by “Paramount pool products”. We used a commercial reinforced onsite liner “Renolit Alkoplan” touch range in “Prestige” to finish the swimming pool and fibreglass roman step unit. For the swimming pool surround we used this stunning “Venetian Gray” Porcelain and the bespoke bullnose copping stones to match made from the same porcelain but bespoke made with a bullnose finish both supplied by “London Stone”.
