An impressive 11m x 5m luxury swimming pool in Oxshott, delivered as part of a complete renovation and rebuild of the property. Working alongside a leading building contractor, we carefully coordinated the pool installation with the wider construction programme. Close communication and detailed planning between all trades ensured the project progressed seamlessly, creating a stunning pool that perfectly complements this exceptional home.

This project deserves to win because it demonstrates the level of detail, craftsmanship and problem-solving required to deliver a truly exceptional luxury swimming pool. Working alongside a major building contractor within a complete house renovation required meticulous coordination and communication. We overcame challenges, including plant-room noise, by upgrading to a variable-speed pump, while carefully considering the family’s needs through the safety cover, UV treatment and generous steps. Combined with premium Ezarri Zen tiling and six EVA LED lights, the finished pool is both beautiful and highly functional.

The pool was designed as an 11m x 5m pool, with a 1.2m shallow end gradually transitioning to a 1.8m deep end. The clients wanted full width steps, with one generous 1m tread creating a dedicated area for lounging, relaxing and allowing the children to play safely in the water. As a family with young children, safety was a key consideration, so a Certikin Coverstar safety cover was incorporated into the design. We also installed UV water treatment to reduce the pool’s reliance on chlorine, providing a cleaner and more comfortable swimming environment. For the finish, the clients selected Ezarri Zen range tiles, chosen for their premium appearance and ability to give the pool a sophisticated, high end feel. Six underwater EVA LED lights were also installed, creating an impressive ambience and allowing the pool to become a striking feature of the garden after dark.

One of the challenges we encountered was the location of the plant room within the house. The original Super Pool Pro pump created noticeable humming and vibration through the building, which was not suitable for such a high end residential environment. We therefore upgraded the system to a variable speed pump, significantly reducing noise and vibration while also improving efficiency. The difference was substantial, creating a much quieter and more refined pool experience for the clients.
