Topline Pools and Wellness were contracted to refurbish and upgrade Aston Villa Football Club's Pool Hall.

Aston Villa’s Bodymoor Heath training ground is regarded as one of the finest facilities in UK sport. Having undergone a major face-lift in 2021, the elite training facility is considered a key facet of the club’s long-term strategy for success. However, it was felt the pool hall area could be significantly enhanced with the installation of a much-improved, more efficient and more environmentally friendly wellness space to meet the club’s commitment to environmental sustainability and to provide a superior recovery space to support the players’ demanding training schedule. Topline’s installations and upgrading of the pool hall represent a considerable improvement, with efficient, durable and stylish products complimenting the world class facility and ensuring that it will meet the club’s needs for many years to come.The project comprised the removal of existing hydrotherapy pool, adjacent plunge pool and spa bath, pool area tiled flooring, sauna and showers/shower cubicles and replacement with new bespoke stainless steel hydrotherapy pool (4700mm x 3500mm) and single enlarged cold plunge pool (5000mm x 2200mm), bespoke aspen sauna, bespoke alfar steam room, floor and wall tiling, new shower screening and all associated alterations

Much of the equipment chosen by Topline came from Astral and included filters, pumps and chiller. This was decided because of the product quality and support provided by the team at Astral. Topline Pools and Wellness supplied the automatic chemical dosing system, the electrical distribution control panels and the underwater lights.
