This project is a showcase of how expert refurbishment can breathe new life into a commercial pool. By blending technical renewal with hydrotherapy features, bespoke wooden in-pool loungers, multi-coloured lighting, and bold design choices, the facility has been transformed into a contemporary, energy-efficient, and commercially valuable space. It is a project that not only meets but exceeds modern expectations, making it a worthy contender in the Pool & Spa Awards.

This refurbishment has completely transformed an ageing commercial pool into a contemporary wellness environment, combining striking aesthetics, enhanced hydrotherapy and upgraded technology to create a more luxurious and engaging experience for guests. The visual transformation is immediately apparent. Tired finishes have been replaced with striking mosaic tiling, bringing depth, texture and vibrancy to the pool. Clean edge detailing and contemporary lines give the space a refined finish, while a carefully considered lighting scheme creates an immersive atmosphere. Multi-coloured underwater illumination works alongside feature LED strips across the ceiling, allowing the space to change according to mood and use.A key element of the refurbishment was the introduction of dedicated hydrotherapy features. Ergonomic in-pool seating and bespoke submerged loungers create dedicated areas for relaxation, supported by individual blowers and jet pumps that provide targeted hydrotherapy. The loungers themselves were constructed from a specialised wood material selected for its durability and suitability within a permanent underwater environment, ensuring comfort, safety, and longevity.Behind the aesthetics, significant attention was gi

GoldenCoast Inverpro Inverter Pumps: We selected InverPro inverter pumps for the circulation and jet systems due to their energy efficiency, quiet operation, and precise variable-speed control. This ensures reliable performance, reduced running costs, and the ability to match output to demand for both filtration and hydrotherapy features. GoldenCoast Besgo Automatic Backwash Valve: We used Besgo automatic backwash valves to ensure consistent and reliable filter cleaning while reducing manual intervention. Their robust pneumatic design allows for quick, efficient backwashing with minimal water loss, supporting both system performance and operational efficiency. Certikin Commercial Blowers: We installed Certikin commercial air blowers to power the loungers and seating areas, providing strong, consistent airflow for reliable hydrotherapy performance. Their robust design ensures durability under continuous use while maintaining quiet and efficient operation in a commercial setting.
