Jacuzzi J475

Above Ground Hot Tub Project of the year (Over £10k)

A challenging but rewarding installation of a Jacuzzi J475, carefully lowered by Hiab crane to a basement-level garden. The hot tub area was designed to feel completely at home with the original property, incorporating a natural stone staircase that complements the existing architecture. Tucked discreetly beneath the stairs, we also created a hidden outdoor shower—an elegant and practical addition that helps keep the hot tub clean and in the best possible condition.

Why this entry deserves to win

This project demonstrates what can be achieved when exceptional installation, thoughtful design and attention to detail come together.Installing a Jacuzzi J475 at basement level presented significant logistical and access challenges, requiring the hot tub to be carefully craned into the garden by Hiab. Rather than allowing the hot tub to dominate the space, we designed the entire setting to integrate seamlessly with the original property. The natural stone staircase creates a strong architectural connection with the existing house, while a cleverly concealed outdoor shower beneath the stairs adds both practicality and refinement. The shower helps maintain the cleanliness and condition of the hot tub, yet remains almost invisible within the design. The result is more than a luxury hot tub, it is a fully integrated outdoor space, where challenging engineering, high-quality materials and considered design combine to create something that feels as though it was always meant to be there. It is this combination of technical achievement, originality and respect for the existing architecture that makes the project worthy of recognition.
